on a rainy day.....today, 3/21/2011 11:30 a.m.
no sunshine
no full moons
silent tides
paint roadside blues
ain't got no time
no burnin' desire within
all from this rainy feeling
that elvis has left the building
yet, luckily
I still have words
that make little sense
a few twists on english's curves
that bend 'round through the rain
and bounce through my head
make the dead dance
in the hallways of my head
